Shari McMahan, Ph.D., CHES.  (Professor and Chair of the Department of Health Science at California State University Fullerton) Dr. McMahan has spent 15 years conducting research on health promotion utilizing a Social Ecological approach. She has been lead investigator on several grants that implemented health promotion programs in the community. She has published in internationally recognized journals. She is on the editorial board of the American Journal of Health Promotion and serves as the Vice President of Research for the Southwest District of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. She also is also on the Scholarship selection committee for the American Association for Health Education.
