It is evident there is a need to look beyond the awareness phase of Obesity. Clearly obesity has become an issue for this next generation. In order to effectively manage and reduce future health problems, it’s time to take action. The goal of this conference is to provide current examples from community interventions & collaborations on obesity and to discuss future directions. 

Program Objectives: 

  • Review local and state programs on Childhood Obesity and Wellness
  • Identify factors that could hinder the development of a healthy child
  • Explore new strategies to address this health concern
